Anini is home to the Hawaiian Island’s longest stretching reef (about two miles long) and is a rural beach community known for its palatial beachfront properties, fabulous windsurfing, snorkeling and beach combing.

Anini Beach is one of the safest places on the north shore to swim and snorkel year-round, as protection from the ocean swells comes from a long, fringing barrier reef that extends the length of this exclusive area. You will find Anini between the areas of Kilauea and Princeville on Kauai's North Shore on a narrow but stunningly scenic road that winds down to oceans' edge.

The ocean fronting Anini Beach is typically calm and shallow providing for great snorkeling, swimming and kayaking. Anini Beach has been a favorite area for years for those learning to windsurf due to the prevailing winds and the protected lagoon.
